We were very lucky to come across London Chimney Liners (www.londonchimneyliners.co.uk) when Googling for chimney liners and GasSafe registered engineer in our area. After calling more than 5 companies for comparative quotes, London Chimney Liners were the only company to actually agree to come to our home to provide a detailed quote and to explain to us in detail the work required. The decision to go with them was a no-brainer. We booked a date and time in advance, on the day the workmen turned up on time, carried out the works within the agreed time and with very minimal disruption. Mike Parsons, the owner of the business, was also onsite to check progress. In short, the whole team were very professional, courteous and took extra care to leave our home in a clean and tidy state by the time all the works were finished.
Once the chimney flue lining work was completed (it was like watching artists carefully cut through the chimney breast and remove one brick at a time, without unnecessary demolition), the plasterer repaired the wall and left it ready for decorating. We have had a lot of experience with builders over the last 7 years and I must admit this was by far the least stressful and most pleasant experience. We highly recommend London Chimney Liners.

I would like to recommend London chimney liners to you. After an unsuccessful chimney repair by a local builder I got london chimney liners in. They fitted a new twin skin flue and log burner solving all the problems I had.
The team worked like demons, finishing the whole job in one day, not even stopping for lunch ! Five star service by a friendly bunch who’s rates were very fair and attention to detail faultless. I wish i had gone to them first !!!

Just to reiterate a thank-you , but particularly to say that we have had several fires since the installation settled in , and the set-up is an unqualified success. The work was commissioned in the first place because we were getting bleed-through of smoke and fumes into the damaged ‘dead’ flue into the kitchen, causing, in some wind conditions, the kitchen to stink of sulphur dioxide.
Totally cured!

Mike Parsons responded promptly to our enquiry and came to inspect our property. He gave us an estimate and told us how the work would be done and how long it would take. He promptly e-mailed a copy of his quotation, and we agreed a date when the works would be undertaken. On the day his team arrived on time, and quickly started to move furniture and cover up surfaces. The team were very efficient, courteous and very helpful, and when they finished helped to move back furniture. Unlike some operators they did what it said on the tin, and I have no hesitation in recommending their services.
